I just got a call today. A former participant in '08 was with his youth group this week on a mission trip in the Bahamas and suffered an accident that ruptured a vertebrate. He was flown to Miami's Jackson Hospital- home to a renown paralysis center. Please pray for him and his family, the doctors and home church.

- DOOR Miami started in 2000 from the vision of AMM, Associated Mennonite Ministries and partnered with the national DOOR network, becoming DOOR- Miami. DOOR nationally is a partnered program of the Mennonite Mission Network. In 2003 DOOR Miami picked up the year long mission piece left by the former Cross Cultural Carribean Ministry which hosted the YAV (Young Adult Volunteer) program from 1996-2000. In 2004 DOOR nationally partnered with the GAC of the PCUSA. Locally DOOR Miami is partnered with Wesley Hispanic United Methodist, Miami Music Ministries/ Lighthouse, First Presbyterian-Miami, and South Florida Urban Ministries(UMC.) We believe in partnership for sure.
